History Will NOT Redeem You, Sir
Mr. Bush,
During the 2000 campaign, it was clear to anyone possessed of critical thinking skills that you were ill-prepared and ill-suited to the job. (I beleive it was Arthur Scheslinger who aptly observed that your mind is a "juvenile" one.) I recoiled in horror as one half of my fellow voters voted for you. My jaw dropped when your minions resorted to physical intimidation to prevent an accurate vote count. My worst fears were realized on Sept. 11, 2001 when my city was attacked, and my friends were killed. (I only narrowly escaped the destruction myself.) I lost the capacity for disgust when we attacked a country that plainly posed no threat to us or others, and proceeded to kill, maim and turn into refugees millions of innocent people.
And in 2004, I could not imagine what one half of my fellow voters were thinking.
All along, sir, I believe you knew perfectly well that you were in way, way over your head. I believe you project an air of dead-certainty to cover an acute sense of inadequacy and doubt. You have, on a daily basis, allowed your ego and your pride to destroy the lives of countless millions.
Germany had Hitler. Russia, Stalin. Cambodia, Pol Pot. While I do not think you evil on the same level as these men, I do think we now have our Bush.
Should you someday care to express regret and repent, I will be happy to forgive you your sins, even if I don't forgive you the damage you have caused -- damage, by the way, we have yet to fully realize, let alone assess.
Go home, dumbass. I think we've all had enough.
