Thank you for your service and your courage

I wanted to thank you for the tireless efforts you and your administration went through to keep us safe after 9/11. I know being the President of the USA must be one thankless job, and I'm frankly disgusted at how many Americans have treated you these past eight years.

Everyone makes mistakes, but as you said in your farewell address, you were indeed willing to make the hard decisions. And for that I commend and thank you, Mr. President.

May your future be bright and may you finally get some much needed rest and relaxation after a job well done.

I love you George W.

Hi W!! I want you to know that I LOVE YOU!! I think you are awesome!! The past 8 years as our President I know and can imagine have NOT been fun for you. You have been dealt a pretty rough Presidency, for sure! I think you just cant catch a break from anyone, you've been given a very hard time from the people who would have 'bitched and moaned' at no matter what you'd done - in ANY situation. I think your attitude of 'you can't please everyone' is great!!

Its okay, we'll try to clean up your mess.

I'm not going to wish you well, sir. I am totally ashamed that you are a citizen of my country. You are the reason that Americans are hated almost everywhere else in the entire world. You have taken away my rights, you have "modified" my rights as a woman. You supported torture blatantly, which should have been against everything we as a country stand for. Honestly, you should be called to account for all the wrongs you have done during your presidency, but I know you never will.

How One Girl Lost Her Faith in America-and Then Found it Again

Dear President Bush,
I'm glad you are leaving. You have singlehandedly done more than any individual in this nation to try and destroy what little faith I have in our country. You have lied, tortured, disrespected the American people, the Constitution, and human rights. You are the president that I have come of age under. I don't remember the prosperity of the Clinton era, the only other era I have been alive for. This has been my christening into American politics and I have been disappointed so far.
