DEAR EX-PRESIDENT BUSH,
I AM AN ELDERLY WHITE FEMALE AND SINCERELY WANT TO EXPRESS MY THANKS TO YOU FOR KEEPING OUR COUNTRY SAFE FOR EIGHT YEARS. I COULD GO TO SLEEP EACH NIGHT AND NOT WORRY THAT I WOULD WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND BE ABLE TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY IN A FREE COUNTRY!!! IT IS ALMOST LIKE PEOPLE HAVE FORGOTTEN 9/11 - HOW CAN THAT BE?

Mr. Bush,

Mr. Bush we would like to take time out of our daily activies to thank you first and foremost for doing a job of the most high calling in America. We believe that you truely serve your country and have done everything to protect the land while under your watch. We are praying for God to continue to keep his hand on your life and bless you and your family.We have great appreciation for you and stand behind you and your family.

My family is proud of you and your family for so steadfastly serving this great country. You did so with style, grace and compassion. Mr. Bush, you are an honorable, upstanding man who we've been proud to call Our President. I pray that you and yours are able to relax and enjoy your lives now. Thank you so much!

Dear Mr. President

I always believed you were a man of integrity. You had more difficult challenges in your 8 years in office than any president in my lifetime and you dealt with them with strength, clarity and character. I believe you did what you felt needed to be done -- without consulting the polls like your predecessor! I admire your strength. You come from great parents, you have a lovely wife and 2 wonderful daughters. And, that says a lot about a person. Know you are admired and you will be missed.

President Bush,
Give 'em a few years of Obama in their pockets and I bet the democrats will be crying for you to come back!
You did what was morally right and for that reason alone, you were the best President we ever had.

I remember September 11th very well. That was the first time in my life that I cried for our country and our freedom. I am proud to say that I voted for you and that all Americans should thank you for your leadership. I could not imagine where we would be if you were not the president during all the trying times. Dear Mr. Bush,

Mr. Prez., I've served in the military for several years now and I wanted to personally thank you for the opportunity to assist Iraq in bringing peace to their country. There are two kinds of people in Iraq. Cowards that attack when your back is turned and then run. And victims that aren't able to fight back against the cowards. It was a hard concept to grasp at first when I saw a country that was killing its own people and oppresing anyone who didn't agree with them. So many murderers roaming their streets that it is hard to understand how lawless it is until you are there.
